Inequality and Spirituality in India

India has been the most religious country in the world; it is also one of the dirtiest and poorest, despite great wealth at the top. I have always marveled at westerners intrigued with Indian spirituality. You might think that such a desperately poor country would be no model for anything, certainly not for spirituality.
