Kudos to the 60 Princeton students who joined the March to End Fossil Fuels in NYC on Sept. 17 and to PAW for covering the event. These students are leaders. Decisive leadership is called for but Princeton drags its feet with ongoing funding of research on campus supported by the fossil fuel industry and $700 million in its endowment still invested in fossil fuels. 8,895 students were enrolled in 2022-23; $700 million is over $78K per student working against those students’ futures. I look forward to the day when Princeton’s endowment and research are fully in service of humanity.
