Hats off to Dr. Peter Janney for masterful research and reporting in Mary’s Mosaic. I’ve read the book twice. Coincidently, I worked in the Georgetown Foundry Building where his subject, Mary Meyer, exhibited her art. And later I worked in a building on the C&O Canal in Georgetown where Mary Meyer was murdered. Dr. Janney and famed attorney Dovey Roundtree laid the groundwork to help solve one of Washington’s oldest cold cases. And in solving her murder, Dr. Janney ties together the intelligence connections between her death and that of her lover and our 35th president, John F. Kennedy. It’s too late for justice to be served, but it’s never too late for truth to be told. This Washington cold case and the one in Dallas on 11/22/1963 should be solved. The truth will not be pleasant, but it is our history and Americans have the right to know. This book is part of unfurling those mysteries.
