Memories of an Entrepreneurial Typist

As an undergraduate in the 1970s, I started my own typing business for my fellow students. My price increased the closer it got to the deadline. I can’t tell you how many senior theses I typed up 24 hours before they were due, but I pulled a lot of all-nighters typing them! In the pre-computer era, this was a great way to make money.
