I am the daughter of Robert Daniel Mize Accola, a 1951 graduate of Princeton. His bother, my uncle A. John Accola, also graduated from Princeton a few years earlier. I and both of my siblings went to Brown. They graduated but I transferred to RISD. I spent a year in Princeton in 1968-69 when my father was at the Institute for Advanced Study. My father’s love of mathematics was a bright beacon growing up. And I was very close to my uncle John.
