At the Mercy of the Court

Elyse Graham’s ’07’s article really resonated with me.

I was a practicing trial lawyer for 25 years and then a trial court judge for almost 21 years, and I never did my own typing, thank heaven! Bless those most important people who did for me!

I’m now retired and working as a mediator and arbitrator and have to do it all myself. My poor spouse has to hear me swear loudly as I fix my many mistakes, since I have to look at the keys because I never really learned to touch type.
