We knew John when he lived on Plum Island in Newbury, Massachusetts. He told us about being on the crew team for Princeton which I had forgotten about until I read your publication. He left Plum Island to go sailing.
He was part of our neighborhood and everyone loved John. I am so sad to hear he passed. He was a lot of fun and we were lucky to have known him. Our condolences to Phoebe, who we met before she was married. John loved her to the ends of the earth and we are so sorry for her loss and all the grandchildren. Also our deepest sympathy to John’s wife, Lorrie who I’m sure was perfect for him. We are so sorry for your loss.
