I remember blow bong starting during band breaks in my club. When the ball went off the table, the person had a drink from the beer pitcher in the middle of the table. It was coed and then evolved into competition between clubs. And I believe Wide World of Sports came down to tape a match.

I also played basketball and that horrible version of touch football, but I really enjoyed playing coed field hockey and learning to balance the ball on my stick running downfield. I also played intramural ice hockey despite not being able to skate. They stuck me in goal and I did OK, except against the faculty who passed the puck back-and-forth so much I fell down and stayed there, waiting for them to finally shoot.
