We played in a Bermuda invitational tournament, winning in a tie with Dartmouth. We then played Yale at Vassar and Harvard at Smith, winning both games. Our coach was a professor from the Institute for Advanced Study. Amazing spring that surprised us all. We had very few football players, an advantage because the instincts in football are different from those in rugby. Following a miserable winter of hockey, in which we lost more than we won, and in particular lost to Dartmouth 9-0 at its Winter Carnaval, the spring was magical.
