I was especially moved by the reasons for Russian and Ukrainian refugees in Princeton relating badly to one another. One might have thought the reasons would be obvious but no. Russians against the war with Ukraine are anti Putin but have no effective role to play, while Ukrainians in America regard themselves as warriors and wonder why Russian dissidents are not also warriors for what is right. This should resonate with Americans who cannot find a way to deal with our own radical objections to the fascism in America. Everything does not unfortunately revolve around voting; it revolves around action and we are not the type to take action if we are not radical fascist Republicans.
