Spotting a Former PAW Editor

How appropriate that the July/August 2022 issue of PAW features not only the final remarks from Marilyn H Marks *86 h’88 as the outgoing editor but also a picture on page 34 of another former PAW editor, Ernie T. Stewart Jr. ’41, as the eighth singer from the left of Old Nassau (counting down from the class of 1948 to the class of 1941 and beyond).  Ernie Stewart was my father, who died in 1963 when I was only 8 years old (he was 44 years old). He was his class correspondent during the Second World War, and then edited PAW from 1946 to 1951. My two older sisters were born in Princeton, and my mother, Lois Dale Stewart (later Lois Eddy) worked for Julian Boyd, the University Librarian.  Princeton is in the blood and I am a proud member of the Class of 1977. I had never seen this picture before. It would be fun to identify the other singers.
