Tangible Tokens of History

It was over 50 years ago that the preceptor opened what looked like the container from a safe deposit box and handed out silver coins minted by the successors to Alexander shortly after his death that we could actually touch.  I don’t know how much it added to my education, but I will never forget holding those concrete tokens of ancient history.
