Very good. Start with...

Very good. Start with something very easy: ask Woodrow Wilson students to anonymously rate themselves liberal to conservative on a 1-7 scale like the poli sci national surveys do (and the GSS, I think). Also ask them to estimate the class average. I just did that for my undergrad business majors regulation class. They averaged 3.7 (slightly liberal) and their class estimate was 3.9, which is pretty close. I also asked them to estimate me, the teacher, but I'll not reveal that, to avoid distraction. It would be interesting at Woodrow Wilson to have them estimate their teachers as a group, though.

Compare this article to another I saw today: "Harvard to mandate English course on 'marginalized' authors" http://www.campusreform.org... . My daughter was wise to apply to Princeton and not Harvard.
