On Watching ‘To End All Wars’

Last evening I stumbled upon the movie To End All Wars. As a child I had seen Bridge Over the River Kwai and was deeply moved. Yesterday I was shaken and emptied out. Tears flowed throughout the film, especially the crucifixion scene. I wondered if I missed what became of the angry gentleman at the end who tried to kill Ito and the soldier. In any event, here close to Easter, I find my feelings mirror Passion of the Christ in intensity. Thank you for a true glimpse of the mystery of life.
