What About the Police?

Those in police forces are forced daily to come into contact with hostile criminals and social misfits. After a number of years there is no way they cannot have developed notions about the people they will come into contact with based on their experience. What is commonly called racism is probably mostly based on experience, good and bad. Perhaps the only answer is 1) either the recruitment and assignment of police in certain areas should be done to make the police and the policed of the same racial/ethnic backgrounds; or 2) perhaps this could not work and police should be retired or reassigned to non-confrontation jobs after about 20 years or even less — to save themselves from bad mental limitations and to save their possible victims.
