Who Remembers; Who Does Not?

Seven years old on D-Day, I don't remember it. I do remember walking with my father in December 1941, however, and hearing about Pearl Harbor. Also the death of FDR in 1945, and the victory over Germany and then Japan a bit later in the same year. What we remember and what we don't: No one, I guess, knows why.
