Winning hearts in wartime

Lt. Bedell came through my office. I am the Marine officer-selection officer for New Jersey. I select and mentor college students to become Marine officers upon graduation. On May 31 I commissioned Joseph Bennett ’11 and Stephen Low ’11 at Princeton. They have now joined Zoe as lieutenants in the Marine Corps and will go on to lead our nation’s young warriors. Princeton is full of young people who possess the high mental, physical, and moral caliber we are looking for. There are a few Princeton grads every year who commission into the Marines and do it for nothing more than to answer the call to serve. Semper fidelis!
