Great piece by Jeff Amy. I echo Stephen Richer’s sentiment that U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell ’86 embodies “Princeton in the Nation’s Service and in the Service of All Nations.” As a son of the South from Tennessee, and Black American, I was inspired not only by Rep. Sewell’s continued public service and determined advocacy, but also by important efforts of alumni, like Julian McPhillips ’68 Esq., who encouraged Rep. Sewell to apply to Princeton. Thank you, PAW, for sharing such stories with us and recognizing this amazing national leader.
