Audio: The Intensely Vigorous Jazz Band

A March 5 letter to the editor prompted reader Dick Snedeker ’51 to submit this archival gem, recorded in the late 1940s or early ’50s by a group of students known as the Intensely Vigorous Jazz Band. With its peppy Dixieland tempo and innuendo-filled lyrics, the IVJB original “Let Me Overhaul Your Car” was a campus favorite, Snedeker said.
