Halloween wasn’t the only time to don a costume in 1913. According to archivists, these unidentified Princetonians were dressed for the town’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade that year. Other photos from that time show crowds of students gathered on Nassau Street for what must have been a rousing  — and rowdy — occasion, much like today’s St. Pat’s celebrations in New York and other cities.
