On the Campus: High-Performance Computing

Rows of cabinets house 2,500 computers and 3,000 hard disks in the High-Performance Computing Research Center on the Forrestal Campus. About 70 percent of the computing power is used for research; the remainder supports the University’s email, databases, and other computing services.
