The full recordings of the late pianist Charles Rosen ’48 *51 for Columbia and Epic Records are included in the 21-CD set Charles Rosen — The Complete Columbia and Epic Album Collection. Most of the pieces are remastered from the original analog tapes. Through the recordings — of pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy, as well as 20th-century composers Schoenberg, Webern, Boulex, and Carter — listeners can trace the artist’s development from his early years.
