The show: At Tunes with Tina, Tina deVaron ’78 plays the piano and sings songs while children and their families can sing and dance along.

 
Dates and location: Sunday Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. and all Sundays through Jan. 5, at Langham Place, 400 Fifth Avenue (between 36th and 37th Streets), in Manhattan.
 
The performing artist: A singer, songwriter, and jazz pianist, deVaron has played at nearly every top piano venue in New York and her songs have topped the Billboard charts. In October, she begins her ninth season performing “Madeline’s Tea” for children at the Carlyle Hotel. And she has released CDs of songs about motherhood – If Mamma Ain’t Happy and Water Over Stones.
 
Tunes with Tina: The musical theme in September is “Back to Broadway.” Some favorites include “Tomorrow,” “Hard Knock Life,” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” from Annie; “Can you Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King; and “Popular” from Wicked.
