YouTube, the popular video-sharing site, celebrated its fifth birthday earlier this year, and in those five years, a handful of Princeton-related YouTube clips have drawn large audiences. The Weekly Blog takes a brief look back at some of the most popular examples.

2006: "P-Unit, Generic Rap Song," 120,000+ views. Undergraduates Nate Domingue ’06 and Rob Moore ’06 cut this video in 2004 to accompany a song they wrote for an English course called "Dirty Words: Satire, Slander, and Society." The video made its YouTube debut two years later.

2007: "Most Incredible Soccer Goal Ever," 399,000+ views. Seton Hall's Eliseo Giusfredi launched his unlikely game-winning goal from just inside the midfield stripe in this 2007 game against Princeton.

2008: "Lest We Remember: Cold Boot Attacks on Encryption Keys," 560,000+ views. Princeton's most popular YouTube clip is an academic one: The Center for Information Technology Policy used this video to explain its latest discovery of a computer security risk.

2009: "diSiac Workshop: Carlo Frem -- 'Poker Face' by Lady GaGa " 122,000+ views. The diSiac Dance Company's take on Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" drew a worldwide audience and more than 100 comments from viewers.

2010: "Paul Muldoon Critiques Ke$ha's 'Tik Tok,' " 67,000+ views. Professor and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon critiqued pop-star Ke$ha's lyrics in this Q&A created by The Princeton Tiger magazine.
