The Thirteenth Hour (self-published) is an illustrated fairy-tale fantasy novel by Joshua Blum ’02 that was inspired by ’80s fantasy and science-fiction films. Long Ago Not So Far Away is a 13-song album that serves as a companion to the novel, featuring a range of styles that pay homage to the film scores and songs of that era.  Blum is also the author of Falling Leaves Don’t Weep, Your Star Will Glow Forever, and A Shadow in the Moonlight.
