U.S. News & World Report: TIED FOR NO. 1 with Harvard in “Best National Universities”; also TIED FOR NO. 1 with Dartmouth in “Best Undergraduate Teaching” and NO. 3 in “Best Value Schools.”

Forbes: NO. 1 OVERALL, based on ­post-graduate success and four-year graduation rates, student satisfaction, and student debt.

Washington Monthly: NO. 20 among national universities, based on social mobility, research, and service.

Princeton Review: NO. 1 for financial aid, NO. 2 for “Most Beautiful Campus,” NO. 3 in “Best Value Private Colleges,” NO. 6 for “Students Study the Most,” and NO. 9 for “Best College Library.”

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance: NO. 1 in “Best Values in Private Colleges.” 

QS World University Rankings: NO. 9 in the world, with MIT ranked No. 1. 

Academic Ranking of World Universities/ Shanghai Jiao Tong World Rankings: NO. 7 in the world, ranking NO. 3 for number of faculty Nobel laureates and Fields medalists and NO. 5 for highly cited researchers in 21 research ­categories.

Times Higher Education World ­Reputation Ranking: NO. 5 in the world, with Caltech No. 1. 

Newsweek/The Daily Beast: NO. 2 in “Most Affordable Schools” behind MIT; NO. 6 among “Most Rigorous Colleges.

Parchment: NO. 5 among U.S. schools in this ranking by an education-data company that ­analyzes the decisions of students with multiple college acceptances.
