James Fitzgerald, creator of the fountain in front of Robertson Hall, named his work the “Fountain of Freedom” to symbolize a vision of lasting world peace – but to these Woodrow Wilson School seniors, the fountain represents freedom of a different sort. Following tradition, the students celebrated April 7 after handing in their theses. This year, even the weather was on their side, with temperatures in the upper 80s and the magnolias lining the plaza in full bloom.
