Olé Nassau: Kicking Off the 20s

The Class of 2020 is back on campus for kickoff — after being kicked off! Off campus, that is, as the class whose gameday graduation plans were red carded by COVID; but, we’re back to win the Reunions game! We kickoff Thursday at noon with gear pick up and we’ll turn on the taps. That evening we’ll have an exciting game of trivia followed by Tiger DJs Elias Berbari ’19, Eliot Peck ’25, and Miles Sugarman ’25 to spin us into Friday. Of course we’re hosting a friendly soccer tournament starting Friday at 10 a.m. before our class photo at 4:30 p.m. We have a dinner lined up Friday evening with a themed class bar and DJ Maxwel Lee ’26 playing high tempo, fast-paced beats that will keep the crowd moving like a soccer match in full swing all night. Saturday begins at 9 a.m. with our memorial service, followed by a halftime class brunch and mimosa bar to fuel the footwork for the spectacular P-rade! End this glorious game Saturday evening with the fire EDM music of Faces for Radio and DJ Colin Tonge ’21. Reunions 2025 is shaping up to be all goals, no penalties! Let the games begin!

It’s ’05 O’Clock Somewhere

It’s always ’05 O’Clock Somewhere! We’re calling all beach bums, parrot heads, and lovers of sunny vibes to join us for a fun and relaxed celebration, embracing the spirit of life and making memories, no matter the time of day! We’re setting sail for an unforgettable weekend, making Reunions into our own ultimate beach party, complete with tropical tunes and laid-back island energy that will have you feeling like you’re on vacation.

The weekend kicks off Thursday evening with a relaxed dinner accompanied by the soothing steel drum sounds of Mustafa Alexander. As the night goes on, DJ Abuchi will be spinning tropical beats and keeping the party going into the sunset. On Friday, we’ll offer the kids a sunny afternoon of balloon twisting, a whimsical bubble show, bouncy house entertainment, and plenty of cotton candy for everyone. The fun continues with a festive lunch and dinner, where Profile Reggae Band will set the mood for a day filled with island vibes. Later in the evening, DJ Abuchi will once again bring the rhythm to our festivities.

Saturday morning starts with a delicious brunch, and for the little ones, the fun continues with face painting, more bouncy-house action, and, of course, cotton candy to sweeten up the sunny days! Whether you’re sipping on something tall and strong or just basking in the reunion glow, one thing’s for sure: It’s ’05 O’Clock Somewhere, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Bid Every Care Withdraw

Headquartered at Whitman Courtyard, the Class of 2000 is taking a pause from the busyness of life for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and friendship. The fun begins Thursday afternoon with a chance to play in one of our tournaments — calling all air hockey and pingpong enthusiasts — with competitions stretching across the three days. After dinner, DJ2000’s electric tunes will spin us back to Y2K while inspiring some moves for the kids’ dance party.

Friday starts with breakfast and a whimsical scavenger hunt. After meeting at our HQ for our community service event at 2 p.m., the Tigressions will bring some calming sounds while we wine and dine before the night turns up with the musical stylings of the Fresh Kids of Bel-Air and DJ Jen Urban. There’s fun activities for all the kids, like arts and crafts, bracelet making, and face paint to don their Princeton pride.

We open Saturday with the sport tournaments playoffs, more class symposiums, and a lovely class brunch. We’ll take a class photo to get us all together as the one and only P-rade begins. Let loose with a Taylor Swift sing-along, a class dinner, and the classic fireworks extravaganza. We’ll cap the night with more energetic performances from Midtown Express and DJ Keith Nix. We’re taking our 25th Reunions to put it all aside, come together, and reconnect with some of our oldest and dearest friends in the best damn place of all.

The Journey Refueled

The great Class of 1995 is fueling up for our first major reunion since 2015 (thanks, COVID). After navigating the long detour, we’re making sure our “Refueled Journey” will be an adventure from the starting line to the checkered flag! Our four-day trip starts Thursday night with the Fresh Kids of Bel-Air, an awesome ’90s cover band from NYC. On Friday night, Chris Norton, a marvelous lounge party band, will help us accelerate from our class dinner on Poe Field into an exclusive ’95 concert. After dinner, ride into the night with 2000s tunes by Hello Brooklyn! On Saturday, our very own Brass Tacks band will be entertaining everyone from our P-rade float, followed by a Southern-rock-style band in our tent. We’ll change lanes into Saturday night with ’80s tunes from Jessie’s Girl, the most popular band at Princeton Reunions! To keep our energy refueled throughout our exciting journey, there will be cold brew coffee on tap, craft beer, signature cocktails, delicious (and nostalgic) food options, and an LA-based DJ playing tunes in our Yeh College HQ both early and late. We’re scheduled to have nine ’95s speaking at Alumni-Faculty Forums throughout the weekend, entertainment for both kids and teens at our HQ, and our class memorial service at 1 p.m. on Friday. And, thanks to our innovative Reunions rideshare program, which provides confidential financial assistance up to the full cost of attending, we’re helping all classmates join us on this incredible trip down the I-95 memory lane. With record-setting registration numbers, we’re in for an unforgettable ride.

Back in Black and Orange

After five long years, 1990 is “Back in Black and Orange,” united for another stop on the world tour — back to where it all began! Our Butler College headquarters will be transformed into a concert venue.

The festivities kick off on Thursday with a welcome happy hour and our house DJ. During our Friday night class dinner, we will celebrate classmate achievements and also honor those who are no longer among us with a special in memoriam tribute video. Like true rock stars, we’ll break out ’90s moves and rock all night long to the Silver Bullets. On Saturday, we will make some serious noise during the legendary P-rade with a four-location, synchronized sound system and a classic rock anthem playlist that will let everyone know that ’90 is the greatest — or at least the loudest — class of all! After the University-sponsored fireworks show, the 13-piece band Philly’s Finest will blow the roof off of our main stage!

For additional throwback vibes, we’ll also enjoy a retro gaming lounge with classic video games, foosball, and pingpong — no quarters required! Other surprises are in store for what is sure to be a memorable 1990 reunion tour!

This Ain’t Our First Rodeo!

The Class of 1985 is saddling up to Old Nassau for our 40th reunion. We’re back and ready to show everyone that despite our break in 2020, Reunions 2025 ain’t our first rodeo! Our meal Thursday evening will be catered by Saddle Up Smokehouse BBQ, accompanied by a DJ firing tunes all night long. The Friday Buckin’ Bronco Brunch is sure to be exciting with more live music followed by the Class of 1985 memorial service at 3 p.m., and a Stampede Supper that’s sure to be fine as cream gravy. We’ll dance the night away with some classic western line dancing accompanied by the music of the Right On band. If you haven’t had enough, make your way to our Giddy Up Breakfast Saturday morning. There’s a P-rodeo Picnic that’s sure to be a punchy time leading up to our class photo and the glorious P-rade! As we lasso and loop around the route, we’ll have a trick rope performer, Loop Rawlins, and line dance our way down Old Nassau. If you’re fixin’ to continue late into the night, we’ll have an espresso martini bar along with a chuckwagon class dinner before the fireworks show and the ABBA tribute band Dancing Dream.

The Ties that Bind

Back to do it right this year, the Class of 1980 is again celebrating “The Ties That Bind,” the theme from our (virtual) 40th reunion. This year we’re more ready than ever before to enjoy some fun with a renewed value of friendship and time spent together.

We will kick off events Thursday with a wine tasting, partnered exclusively with Tiger-owned/managed vineyards, as well as an exciting classmate showcase. One of our class panels will include a showing of Never Fade Away, an award-winning short film by our classmate Donna Weng Friedman ’80, which tells the story of how a radio and a waltz changed the life of an immigrant (her father).

After lunch on Friday, we will celebrate the lives of classmates lost in the last five years. Friday evening includes a cocktail party and dinner on the patio of the beautiful new Princeton University Art Museum, and the Stereo Junkies will play songs that take us back to the best music era of them all.

Saturday is our class photo and the one-and-only P-rade, where we’ll link arms with friends and family and parade around the campus that connected us so many years ago. Saturday dinner will be at our headquarters, and our Saturday night band, James Popik and Supernova, will send us right back to 1980. We’ll have a farewell Sunday brunch at Rocky College dining hall and take a break before starting to work on the 50th! Get ready for a weekend of nostalgia, entertainment, and friendships new
and old.

Still Flying High

The Great Class of 1970 is coming to Reunions 2025 to show they’re “Still Flying High.” On Thursday, we’ll begin with the golf tournament at Springdale Golf Club, followed by a campus tour in the afternoon. Starting on Friday we’ll be able to see the ones who are really still flying high! The annual Bird Walk at 8 a.m., which includes a bird watching tour of the Charles H. Rogers Wildlife Refuge, is a returning class favorite.

For the kids, the American Classical Orchestra of New York will perform Peter and the Wolf in Richardson Auditorium at 2:30 p.m., organized and donated by Mae Wong Miller ’70. Afterward, join us at the traditional memorial organ concert at the University Chapel. Make your way back to the Scully Courtyard HQ for a cocktail reception with student performances, dinner, and tunes by The Fabulous Greaseband.

The Class of 1965
Sounds of ’65

The Class of 1965 will make up for lost time with a rockin’ 60th reunion, celebrating the “Sounds of ’65.” Our class spent four years at Princeton listening and dancing to musical history in the making, as rhythm and blues, folk, and country fused into rock ’n’ roll. We welcomed a lineup of legendary members of the original Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to campus during those years, including Bo Diddley, the Coasters, and the Drifters. Follow the sounds of ’65 down the P-rade route as we parade around Princeton in our distinctive tiger-striped vests, led by a ’65 Chevy Impala. We’ll have signs recognizing our musical theme and athletic accomplishments.

Going Back — Looking Forward

The Class of 1960 is going back to look forward! After a short COVID break, we’re back at Old Nassau to celebrate our last big Reunions! We’re here to celebrate all our golden years, memories, and friendships made in the ’50s — the most iconic decade of them all. We have great plans, including an in-house forum for the class featuring classmates who have contributed to national issues, a memorial service Friday afternoon with a performance by the Nassoons, and the annual class meeting. In between festivities, we’ll share wonderful meals and time together at Forbes College. Our P-rade theme is “Nifty, Fifty, Thrifties” and you can find us led by a ’50s beauty on wheels as we show all the other classes the greatness of 1960! In true nifty style, tunes from our years in college will play throughout the weekend, featuring a DJ who is a class member’s son. Here’s to being nifty, celebrating the fifties, and keeping it thrifty — all Reunions long!
