Princetonian-produced Half opens at the New York Fringe Festival
New work: The play Half — written by Becca Foresman ’10; starring Foresman and Adam Zivkovic ’11; directed by Cara Tucker ’12; and staged managed by Christina Henricks ’13 — is being performed at the New York International Fringe Festival this month.
The play: In this farce about divorce, Foresman and Zivkovic each portray three characters — a king, queen, therapist, interior decorator, maid, and valet. From the play’s website: “When the king and queen take a hatchet to their marital union, their servants reel in the crossfire. Meanwhile, the royal decorator and royal therapist strike a double deal, salivating over the wreckage. Servants and rulers alike struggle to maintain their footing as tension skyrockets and palace life careens into an uncertain future.”
