The Princeton University Preparatory Program (PUPP) celebrated its 10th anniversary at a May 27 Reunions gathering. Seventy-two students from six area high schools are enrolled and 160 have completed the program, which provides low-income, high-achieving high school students with the tools for collegiate success.
“We want to give them the skills to know how to get in, how to get financial aid, how to maximize chances for success,” said sociology professor Miguel Centeno, a co-founder of the program. “It is the best thing I have ever done professionally.”
