Juniors Donn Cabral, left, and Brian Leung earned All-America honors and MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY finished a program-best 12th in the team standings at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., Nov. 22. WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY placed 15th, led by All-American Alex Banfich ’12, who finished 20th ­individually.

MEN’S SOCCER lost 2–1 to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in the opening round of the NCAA Championships Nov. 18. Antoine Hoppenot ’12 earned second-team All-America honors.

With a 31–0 season-ending loss to Dartmouth Nov. 20, FOOTBALL finished the year 1-9 overall and lost all seven Ivy League games for the first time in 55 seasons of league play.

MEN’S WATER POLO placed third in the CWPA Eastern Championships Nov. 21, beating host Bucknell 8–7 in the tournament’s consolation game.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4–0 shutout of Brown Dec. 4. The Tigers also beat Syracuse in a pair of nonconference games Dec. 10 and 11.

MEN’S HOCKEY scored five or more goals in three straight wins — one vs. St. Lawrence Dec. 4 and two against the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Dec. 10 and 11 — to improve to 8-5 overall.
