Capra at Princeton

I wish I could be more specific, but all I remember for sure is that, sometime between fall 1972 and spring 1976, when I was a resident graduate student, I attended a showing of  It’s a Wonderful Life on the Princeton campus, with Frank Capra as special guest. I lined up afterwards to shake his hand. Looking him in the eye, I said, “Thank you for giving us such a wonderful film” (it was the first time I had seen it, and I was wonderstruck). He seemed to appreciate the comment.
