Community of Asian and Asian American Alumni

The Asian Alumni of Princeton was established in 1979 with many ’79ers. A4P is the continuation of AAP that celebrated the 45th reunion in 2024. Vitus ’79 was the photographer at the event. This community started with 20-30 alumni. AAP supported Regina Lee ’85 and highlighted the need to build a community of Princetonians interested in Asian and Asian American affairs. Under the leadership of Regina Lee ’85, this community has grown. With more alumni in this community, the transition from AAP to A4P happened in 2002-3 when Regina Lee ’85 also wrote the by-laws for A4P through the transition. Kelly Kuwayama ’40 found AAP in 1979 and helped the transition to A4P before he passed away. May he rest in peace.

We must not forget history.
