A Community of Learning and Exploration

When I saw this news published, upset didn’t even begin to describe the emotions I felt. I had the wonderful opportunity to join TAP to explore the performing arts with friends that I knew and friends/mentors I got to meet and learn from in this program. This program is a big part of why I got introduced to theater and why I now have chosen theater for my future career. The program and its community cultivated a love for the arts that I would’ve never gotten without it. It inspired curiosity and self-led exploration and it upsets me that the children of Trenton will no longer experience that amazing community at this program. It was liberating being at TAP, and seeing it paused for this greedy reason is so telling. So, get it together, Princeton.
