Confronting Fossil Fuel Dependence

Thank you so much, Tom, for pointing out that divestment is truly the most responsible investment path from a financial standpoint as well as an ethical one. I would add that our investment strategy should take into account the kind of economic and essential supply collapse that intelligence agencies and the scientific community foresee within the next decade as a result of climate change. Fossil fuel corporations not only are speeding that collapse, but also may be among its greatest casualties when governments are finally forced to confront the need to end fossil fuel dependence. This is not a forecast off in 2046, but in the 2030s. We need to divest now.
