President Goheen is certainly worthy of high recognition on the Princeton campus, but as a 1983 MPA I don’t think his profile is wide enough to warrant his name replacing Woodrow Wilson’s at SPIA. Imagine Harvard replacing the Kennedy name on its policy school with past president Derek Bok, who was equally responsible for integrating women on campus. The name would not resonate internationally. Without doing background checks, I could see the school name going to James Madison, George Shultz or Paul Volcker, the latter two of which are SPIA (WWS) alums.
