Alexander Pouschine ’54

Alexander died Sept. 27, 2016, in North Bay Village, Fla. He was born in New York City, where he attended Sea Cliff High School prior to Princeton. He majored in modern languages, was a member of Cloister Inn, and played varsity soccer. Al left Princeton during his junior year and earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia School of General Studies.
He moved to Miami, Fla., and worked in banking, then became comptroller of the Twin Bikini Co., from which he retired several years ago. He loved soccer, sailing, and tennis, playing tennis until 2000. He was a devoted member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Cathedral in Miami, serving on its parish council as assistant treasurer until his death.
The class extends condolences to his brother Ivan and his wife, Helen; and to Ivan and Helen's children, Ellen, Tania, John, and Nicholas.
