Ancient Ocean Crossings (University of Alabama Press) argues that in fact many ancient peoples were able to cross oceans, impacting the societies they came into contact with. Steven Jett ’60 draws from fields of archaeology, linguistics, oceanography, genetics, and the history of seafaring to make his multi-disciplinary argument.
