Aaron P. Whitehead ’31

Body

AARON PENNINGTON WHITEHEAD died Aug. 31, 1994, still an active lawyer. He remained a loyal and active Princetonian and classmate.

At college, Penny ran cross-country and lettered in track; he was undergraduate governor at Ivy Club. Harvard Law School came next, and, later, a partnership in the law firm of Morris & McVeigh. He served as a director of the Clark Foundation and as a trustee of the New Jersey Historical Society.

Among Penny's forebears who attended Princeton are A. Pennington '52, Pennington '81, and William Silas '91.

Penny was not married, but is survived by his brother, Zabriskie, who lives in Dublin. To him and other members of the family, the class extends sincere sympathy for the loss of this attractive and community-minded man.
