Alan L Burrows ’33
AL BURROWS died Nov. 19, 1989. He lived in Amsterdam, N.Y. Al was born Nov. 16, 1910. He lived in Orange, N.J., and prepared at Lawrenceville. At Princeton he was on the freshman football team.
Al left college early and joined Manufacturer's Trust Co. in N.Y.C. In 1941 he entered the Army, leaving in 1946 as a first lt.
After the war Al went with the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, N.Y., where he was in the labor relations division of the personnel department.
On Aug. 23, 1941, Al married Ada Terrell. She survives him, as do their two children, Ms. Nell Burrows, of Scotia, N.Y., and Alan L. Jr., of Columbia, Md.
The Class of '33 regrets that we did not see more of Al in later years. We express our sympathy to his family.
