Alan P. Clark ’51

Alan graduated from Kiski High School in Pennsylvania. At Princeton, he majored in geology, played varsity football and baseball, and was a member of Cannon Club. He roomed with John Groome, Francis R. Hollendonner, Bill Prior, Frank Reichel, and John Titman.
After graduation, he earned a master’s degree in teaching from Columbia University Teachers College. Alan spent his career teaching and coaching in both public and private schools, working in Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
Alan died Dec. 4, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Shirley; and is survived by four children, Linda, Ladd, Laura, and Scot.
