Albert E. Scherm Jr. ’42
BUD DIED Mar. 14, 1994, at his apartment in Branford, Conn. He had lived in Branford, at Evergreen Woods, a lifecare center, for the past two years, where he had enjoyed an active life. His entire business career was devoted to advertising and public relations. He retired from Crane Co. of N.Y.C. in 1986 as director of advertising arid public relations.
Bud attended Lawrenceville and, at Princeton, majored in economics and was a member of Court Club. After four years in the army field artillery, including a tour of duty in the South Pacific, he was mustered out as a captain. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard in 1947 and joined Fuller, Smith & Ross, a N.Y.C. advertising agency, where he spent 18 years, before joining the Crane Co. in 1966.
To his sons, Albert and Christopher, and his daughters, Molly and Ann, the class offers its most sincere condolences.
