Alexander "Minty" Waldron ’31
MINTY DIED at his home in Stuart, Fla., Mar. 25, 1993. He left Princeton and entered the Class of 1931 at the Univ. of Michigan, where he received his A.B. degree. He stayed on to study medicine, graduating in 1936. He was an intern and resident at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and then returned to the Univ. of Michigan as an instructor in internal medicine. He then entered private practice in Ann Arbor, Mich., retiring in 1979. He spent four years as an army medical officer during WWII, serving in the South Pacific. He was discharged in 1946 as a It. col.
Minty is survived by two sons, Carter and Alexander; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The class sends sincere condolences to his family.
