Alfred William Hunt ’42

Body

AL DIED in Victoria, Tex., on Nov. 13, 1989, of a massive heart attack. At the time of his death, he was retired from the Exxon Corp., where he had been in research for many years in Tulsa, Okla. His switch to chemical sales in the same organization brought moves around the country and in Canada.

Al came to Princeton from the Hun SchooI. He majored in chemical engineering. He was past president of the Exxon Annuitant Club and chairman of the Victoria Red Cross. Art was always his second love, and he was on the board of the Victoria Art League and owner of Studio 42. He was also an ardent fundraiser for Victoria Community Theatre and other cultural organizations.

To his wife, Bettie, his son, Gordon '67, his daughters, Lucinda Pickett, Candace Mounter, and Holland Burgess; and his five grandchildren, the Class extends its most sincere sympathies.
