ANDREW POWIE FULLER, a Texas oil producer and cattle rancher, died Jan. 27, 1944, at his N.Y.C. apartment. He was born in Snyder, Tex. The family later moved to Fort Worth. Andy attended Culver Military Academy. At Princeton, he graduated summa cum laude in foreign languages.

During WWII, he was in military intelligence with the army. He was military attache to the embassy in Brazil and was named to Brazil's Legion of Honor. Upon the liberation of Paris, he was assigned to the embassy in Paris. For his work in locating Allied prisoners in German and Russian camps, he was made an officer of the French Foreign of Honor and       was awarded the U.S. Legion of Merit.

In 1946, he married Geraldine Spreckels. They lived in Fort Worth, where he worked in First Natl. Bank. Later, he and his brother William went into oil exploration. In 1956, he and family moved to N.Y.C. and Southhampton and wintered in Palm Beach. Andy is survived by his widow and their daughter Gillian. They have the sincere sympathy of the class.           ­
