Benjamin Howe Shoemaker ’29

BEN DIED Oct. 30, 1989, He prepared for college at Loomis. At Princeton he was in the Glee Club and was assistant manager of the musical clubs. He was in Cannon Club and roomed with Towney Wilder.

He went to Texas almost immediately after graduation and was active in developing irrigation, as well as in farming and in manufacturing concrete pipe. He did community work in the Boy Scouts and in connection with the All Saints Episcopal Church of San Benito, Tex. He married Barbara Ruth Dodds in 1934. He is survived by two sons, Stuart Dodds Shoemaker and William Howe Shoemaker.

The Class extends sincere sympathy to Ben's family.
