Boone Sparrow ’61

Recently we learned that Boone died Jan. 26, 2021, presumably in Phoenix, where he lived for many years.

He was born and raised in Wise, Mont., and came to us from Beaverhead County High School. He left Princeton before we graduated, eventually earning a B.A. in English at the University of Montana.

Other than his entry in our 10th reunion yearbook, he never communicated with the class. Thus we know nothing about his career other than that he taught English composition in several venues and was a freelance writer.

There are no known next of kin.
