Bradbury C. Alder ’30

Body

BRAD ALDER died Mar. 24, 1992, at the Cleveland Clinic, after several months of illness.

Brad came to Princeton from Exeter Academy but left in Feb. 1929. He spent five years in Minneapolis working for the Northwestern National Bank. In 1934 he moved to New York and spent 15 years with the accounting firm of Franke, Hannon, and Withey. Afterwards he moved to Massillon, Ohio, and became comptrotter of the Grissom Russell Co. That company was liquidated in 1963, at which time he formed a partnership with another accountant under the name of TonssantAlder Co.

During WWII Brad served in the Army, first training troops in Mississippi and then working with military government in France and Germany.

He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, the Shady Hollow Country Club, and various C.P.A.oriented associations. Surviving are his widow, Eleanor; daughters Margaret Brunyansky and Jane Dinsmoor; four sons, John B., Robert C., James W., and Eugene M.; six grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren. To them we extend our heartfelt sympathy,
