Brad died Jan. 6, 2016, at home in Fayetteville, Pa., after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

He came to Princeton from Chambersburg High School, where he was president of his class and an all-state football player. Brad played freshman football at Princeton before a medical condition curtailed his football career with the Tigers.

A history major at Princeton, Brad continued his love of history and current events throughout his life. He was a member of Dial Lodge and maintained a close bond with his Princeton roommates, Blair Magaziner, Christopher D. Johnson, Gary Marshall, Tom Montebell, Jim Rafeedie, Al Smith, Marty Mooney, and Bob Kelly.

After graduation, Brad joined the family business, Gsell Vending. He was the owner of BG Novelty and Gsell’s Whitetails, a hunting facility for whitetail deer. He was a Mason and a member of the George Washington Lodge No. 143, George Washington Royal Arch Chapter No. 176, George Washington Council No. 66, the Franklin County Shrine Club, the Boone and Crockett Club, and Safari Club International. A life member of the NRA and numerous other social and veteran clubs, Brad was an avid hunter of trophy whitetail deer and a lifelong conservationist.

The class extends deepest sympathy to Brad’s wife, Marcia Seiders Gsell, and the rest of his family.
