He often said he had never “actually retired,” but his retirement years were devoted to extensive travel, active membership in the University Club of Denver, and church work.  

Will, who majored in politics, came to Princeton from Shreveport, La., via Phillips Andover Academy. He roomed with Raymond Kelly in Brown and Joline as a freshman and sophomore, and with Kelly, William Jamison, and Albert Bingham at 2 Blair Tower for junior and senior years.   He served in the Army during World War II, seeing action in   Europe, including the Battle of the Remagen Bridge.  

He is survived by a niece, five nephews, and 26 godchildren. Memorial services for Will were held Sept. 29 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shreveport and Sept. 30 at the Wellshire Presbyterian Church in Denver. Inurnment was in Shreveport.
